Tackle football introduces new physical and mental demands. Athletes who understand how to move, position their bodies, and stay aware are better prepared to play confidently and safely.
Focus:
This non-contact clinic enables players to prepare for their upcoming season.
Each clinic consists of six one-hour sessions over two weeks. The program will support players in developing foundational skills and muscle memory, preparing them to move more fluidly and position themselves safely to initiate contact before a tackle. Whether this is your son’s first season playing football or his fifth, the program will meet him where he’s at and support his development into a more confident and safer football player!
Week 1: Movement & Awareness Foundations
• Athletic Stance and Balance
• Movement in space and body positioning
• Introduction to football-specific movement patterns
• Body control approaching various tackling situations.
• Confidence through repetition in a non-contact environment.
Week 2: Application & Confidence Building
• Applying movement to routes, coverage, and pursuit
• Improving reaction and anticipation
• Reinforcing positioning and awareness for various tackling situations.
• Building comfort and confidence through repetition.
Each athlete leaves Football Confidence Lab with:
• Increased confidence and comfort on the field
• A stronger understanding of movement and positioning
• A framework they can use to continue to develop strength.
• Optional before-and-after movement video shared privately to showcase their development.
